Join Living On Earth for an evening with Terry Tempest Williams, award-winning author of The Hour of Land: A Personal Topography of Americas National Parks; Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place; Finding Beauty in a Broken World; and When Women Were Birds in conversation with Steve Curwood. Terry's work is widely taught and anthologized around the world. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, she is currently the Writer-in-Residence at the Harvard Divinity School and divides her time between Cambridge, Massachusetts and Castle Valley, Utah.Living On Earth is a weekly hour-long environmental radio program, which broadcasts nationally from roughly 250 stations. The show features news, interviews, and commentary on the natural world and ecological issues. Topics include climate change, biodiversity, emerging science, and sustainable agriculture. Recent featured authors on the show include Jonathan Safran Foer, Sy Montgomery, Michael Mann, Barbara Kingsolver, John Kerry, and Barry Lopez.
