The Frances R. Schnadig Memorial Mental Health Education Series includes clinical discussion of works of fiction and non-fiction, focusing on relationships, treatment, and ethical issues. It will include discussion groups for mental health professionals and lay people alike. These four events are for clinicians with the lay discussion group to be scheduled on a future date.

Reading the books is recommended, but not essential. Selections for 2019-2020 are:

October 25th- Educated by Tara Westover

January 31st- Where the Crawdad's Sing, by Delia Owens

March 27th- After Visiting Friends: A Son's Story by Michael Hainey

May 15th- Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, by Gail Honeyman

2 CEUs for Illinois Social Workers and Counselors

$20 per session or $60 for all four.
