What we'll do
It has been very cold these last weeks. I'm thinking that will mean the lighthouses in Michigan will be frozen, ready for us to shoot. We will go see three of them. We can meet at the first lighthouse or at Meijers in Perrysburg if anyone is going to car pool. The first lighthouse will be St Joseph, in St Joseph Michigan. Our next lighthouse stop will be South Haven. Then we will finish the shoot with the sunset at Grand Haven. Hopefully, they will be covered in layers of ice. Depending on the weather. We will check the weather before the trip. See how it goes.

The drive will be 3.5-4 hours from Toledo. You can book a hotel in Grand Haven or drive back, I am staying and will list local hotels in the next days.

What you should bring: A Camera, tripod, ND filter. For safety you will need to bring ice cleats and layer up. The cold wind never lets up. It will be good to put on extra layers and maybe winter overalls. The parking lot is close if you need to warm back up.

The trip will start at St Joseph then we will go to South Haven then to Grand Haven. Stay the night in Grand haven. We can head back home in the morning, after perhaps shooting the sunrise and breakfast.

I will post more info as the day gets closer.
