Is that the sweet sound of Christmas carolers that you hear in the distance?
WAIT! No, its the inviting sound of sweet meows and purrs from the excited felines of St. Francis Society Animal Rescue who are busy purrparing for a special celebration coming soon!
ONCE AGAIN, THE CATS IN TAMPA BAY FINALLY HAVE THEIR DAY!!!

This year, KittyCon will be two days at that most wonderful time of the year - Sat. Nov 30 from 11 to 6pm and Sun Dec.1 from 11 to 5pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore.
The theme this year is Meowy Catmas and KittyCon will have something for everyone - Entertainment, Special Guests, Fun Panels, Cat-Tastic Vendors, Cat Adoptions, Autograph Signings, PhotoOps, Kitty Kosplay, Charity Auction, and Kids Activities.
So If youre "feline festive", come out and spend the weekend with fellow cat fanatics to ADOPT! SHOP! and LEARN! at our second annual KITTYCON TAMPA BAY 2019 celebrating a MEOWY CATMAS! Well have lots of vendors on hand to cover all your holiday purresents and an Adoption Room where YOU can make the future MEOWY & BRIGHT for our deserving foster cats and kittens looking for their forever homes!
Adults and children of all ages will enjoy this family friendly celebration of all things Cat!
As our flagship charity fundraiser, proceeds will benefit St. Francis Society Animal Rescue. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, Facebook, or at www.kittycontampabay.org. Please check back often as we add new guests and activites.
Can attendees bring their cats?
Sorry, but no. The only cats at the convention will be the St. Francis Society cats and kittens up for adoption and they will be safely contained and kenneled in one room separate from the convention hub bub. Experienced St. Francis Society adoption counselors will be available to assist attendees who wish to adopt a new family member. St. Francis Society feels that a busy convention is not the place to bring a cat no matter how much that cat may like people. We would feel terrible if a cat suffered a stress related illness after being subject to a noisy, crowded environment.. KittyCon is for PEOPLE who love cats but they should leave their personal cats at home.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No, but minors 17 years old and under need a VIP White Cat Companion Ticket and be accompanied and supervised at all times by the VIP White Cat Adult ticket holder to be able to enter the VIP White Cat Winter Wonderland Hospitality Suite. Proof of ID may be required of attendees in the VIP White Cat Winter Wonderland Hospitality Suite. General Admission Childrens tickets are available to children 12 & under. Children 2 and under are free.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is a complimentary parking at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore. The hotel also has complimentary shuttle service to and from Tampa International Airport for attendees who are staying overnight at the hotel.
What can I bring into the event?
You can bring a backpack or bag to carry your purchases from the convention vendors. A sweater or long sleeve shirt is suggested in case the event rooms get chilly. You can bring in items that you would like the special guests to sign with an autograph purchase or purchase items in the Vendor Village. Some people bring their own sharpies for autographs.... just in case. For security purposes, backpacks, bags and purses may be searched. No alcohol or weapons are permitted. Please leave your pets at home. St. Francis Society will have enough cats and kittens up for adoption that you'll have plenty of opportunities to get your kitten fix.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You can contact Loretta at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
What's the refund policy?
Sorry but we are unable to provide refunds but paid tickets are transferable. Just don't forget to update the registration with the new ticket holder's information and email.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your printed ticket to the event or have it available on your phone for the bar code to be scanned.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you can go into eventbrite.com and update your registration information. Please contact us at email@example.com if you need assistance.
Can I give or sell my ticket to another person?
Your ticket is transferable but please update your registration with Eventbrite with the new ticket holder's information and email by going to eventbrite.com. They must have an email with a bar code to enter the convention. Their email with the bar code is their ticket. They may print it off and present it as a hard copy or have it available on their phone for scanning.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
It is better to properly transfer the registration to the new ticket holder through Eventbrite so the ticket matches the person who attends. This can be done up to 11pm Friday, Nov. 29, the day before the event. If you are ready to purchase tickets but are not sure who you will bring, enter your last name and "guest" on the ticket with your email and your payment information. When you know who you are bringing, go back into your order and change the guest entry to the name of the person going with you and change your email to theirs so they get their ticket emailed to them. If you forget to do this, we may ask for the info at registration slowing down your check-in. Also if you don't change the emails, all the tickets will be sent to your email address.
