Please come prepared to pay for your parking; you will not be able to get into the park otherwise. There are restrooms located at the start/finish line and one water stop at approximately mile 2.8.*There are two courses for this event. Both have been professionally measure to ensure that they are at least 6.2 miles. The course that includes the Osprey Trail (which is both challenging and scenic) is plagued by erosion. Consequently there is a back up course with uses the Cape Henry Trail; it is beginner friendly while offering a chance for the experienced trail runner to really test their speed. The final determination as to which course will be used will be made in August.
