This class serves as an introduction to how QuickBooks 2017 desktop operates and how a business owner can
manage their own books by entering everyday transactions for invoicing, receiving payments, entering and paying vendor bills, and more!

Customize for your business with preferences and settings
What are Items & How to Setup (Create Invoices for Customers & Bills from Vendors)
Basic Financial Reports

We will provide a laptop for the class. Basic understanding of business accounting recommended.

Directions: Enter campus via Newburg Rd. Veer left at the roundabout. Clayton Hall/Brown Center will be on your right. Enter the rear of the building. Room will be above the dining hall area. There will be a 1 hour break for lunch.


Instructor: Marla Blanchard


Marla J. Blanchard is the Owner/Operator of MJB's Bookkeeping Solutions, specializing in SMB's and individual accounting needs. She is a Certified Bookkeeper, as well as certified in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Zoho Books. In addition to running her business, Marla volunteers for a Simi At The Garden, a non-profit community garden in California, Savannah Springs Homeowners Association in Louisville, and SCORE Louisville Chapter.
