Instructor:Katrina Harris

Summary:In this course, each student will learn the basics of leatherworking from Kat Harris of Fouts Leather by fabricating their own hand stitched leather wallet.

Description: This course will cover the following topics:

- Intro to material

- Following a pattern

- Cutting leather

- Hand Stitching

- Basic tool use (knives, awl, pricking iron, etc.)

- Monogramming/ Embossing

At the end of the class, each student will complete a hand sewn leather wallet similiar to what is shown in the picture.

Ticket Sales end two days before the event begins.

About the Instructor:

Katrina is a leather worker and artisan and owns and operates Fouts Leather, making fine leather goods and wares of all types. An Atlanta native that has been making and breaking things her entire life. She enjoys the stillness it brings, while opening up a world of creative ideas. She works with several different mediums, and loves when an idea becomes a finished work of art. If you can think it up, chances are she is game to help make it happen.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, please notify us before ticket sales end about any transfer of puchase.

What is the refund policy?

We will refund any ticket requested for any reason up to a week before the course runs, after that point we can only give credit to a future course. No call, No show cancellations cannot be refunded, as the ticket price will be paid out to the instructor for their time. If the class cannot run as scheduled, for whatever reason, purchaser will have the option of a full refund or credit towards the makeup course.

Courses must sell a minimum of four tickets to run. If a course cannot sell four tickets, the students who have signed up will have the option to (a) reschedule (b) recieve a full refund. This notification will be issued when ticket sales end, approximately 48 hours before the course.
