Internal Auditor: Verifying the Effectiveness of Your Food Safety Program

Course Description:

This one day course offers basic audit training for designated persons who are responsible for verifying the effectiveness of the food safety system. The delegate will gain a holistic view of internal auditing, focusing on practical aspects, with the opportunity to apply internal auditing processes, which are suited to all management systems (including GFSI standards BRC, SQF, GlobalGAP). Case studies and interactive activities are provided.

This training provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to perform internal audits on food safety management systems (FSMS) and to contribute to their continual improvement. Participants are expected to have knowledge of food safety management systems before attending this training.

  • How to create audit schedules to inspect/verify programs
  • How and when to communicate audit findings to management
  • Developing and documenting corrective actions of non-conformities
  • Understand Root Cause Analysis
  • Review SQF, BRC & Global G.A.P.
  • Self-Assessment Tools

In-house auditors, consultants and management who are looking for continuous improvement tools and for those certifying to a GFSI Standard BRC, SQF, Global GAP specifically.

No refunds (or credit transfer) will be issued 5 business days or less before the training
