Every night it seems we hear of more and more victims on the news. Areas where we once felt safe, no longer feel that way. Our police force is underfunded and not fully staffed, and there seems to be no end to the boldness of criminal behavior.

The Impact 360 Line in the Sand Level 1 Self Defense Workshop is designed for those who have said enough is enough and want to learn how to identify, avoid and escape potentially unsafe situations.

This workshop is a hands on interactive workshop that will focus on decreasing vulnerabilities, understanding how criminals target their victims, teach practical counter assault techniques, role playing, and de-escalation tactics.

Registration will open at 8:30 and class will begin at 9:00. Come dressed in comfortable workout clothes. Below is a list of activities we will be working on.

  • Strikes and Punches
  • Situational Awareness & Red Flags
  • Differences Between Threats and Attacks
  • Self-Defense Techniques: Wrist grabs, Chokes, and Ground Defenses
  • Memphis PD: A Law Enforcement Perspective
  • Wrap Up Review of the morning/Preview of Level 2: Responding to weapon attacks and threats (Guns & Knives) Role Playing (carjacking, mugging, etc)

We will have approximately 6-9 instructors for a low student to pupil ratio. We will have several 3rd and 4th degree black belts in Karate and Taekwondo as well as advanced students in Krav Maga working with everyone, plus others to help as needed from the Impact 360 Martial Arts School in Searcy Arkansas.

Class size will be limited but we may add an extra session if demand warrants it.
