Baltimore's Kukuwa joins #IAMHER Project to help motivate, heal and generate positive energy to those who need an uplifting. We truly believe in the connection of providing dance as a tool to help aid in the affects of mental health and peace to the mind of all within the community. Where not just here to dance, but to educate, show love, patience, self confidence, trust and communication. This is a Healing process and Dance is our medicine. We encourage you to be apart of #Bmorekukuwafit in partnership with #IAMHER Project as a community of individuals who stand up for ouselves, respect ourselves, love ourselves and are committed to ourselves. In doing so we can pull together as a community and create miracles. Let's generate a tight knitted circle of people helping one another as best we can.

Kukuwa African Dance Fitness will help transform the body. The class is blended with different types of African music meshed by the energetic vibes and body isolations to tone muscles and burn calories.
In this class participants learn how to move their Boombsey's, Core Abs, Arms, Legs and Hips in ways they didn't know existed. This total body workout burns up to 1000 calories in 60-minutes.
Take an educational journey to Africa with us listening to the Afro-Beat, Dance and enjoy A lot of Heart Wrenching Fun.
Burn Crazy calories sweating buckets like you've never done before because you Can Do It.
This dance workout will add flavor to your workout, nourishes the mind, body, heart, spirit and soul.
It's open to all fitness levels and is family oriented.

I am so excited to help others learn African dance wheather it's to stay active, lose weight or just to have a good time dancing.
Kukuwa gives the participant an activity of fun-filled movements to waste away the time and say yes I Did It.
The time flies when you're having fun; and before you know it.
It's over.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The studio is located straight back behind the synagogue.

There's a Sign & Flag on the building in the back for the studio.

Free parking in front of the studio and along the nearby streets.

What can I bring into the event?

Water Bottle &towel for the SWEAT Dripping off your Body.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to print your ticket. You can pull up your scannable ticket via mobile
