The planned route for today is to head down Wadsworth to Arrowhead and return back on Titan road through Chatfield. The route can be found at the following link (short stop at mile 6 and a food/water stop at mile 17):

Plan on a intermediate difficulty ride today with a steady tempo pace down Wadsworth to do some paceline skills work. The likely regroup points will be at the top of Roxborough and then the turnoff to Chatfield from Titan Road.

Our insurance provider requires that all riders sign the annual rider waiver. If possible, please bring the filled out waiver to the start of the ride which can be found HERE

General Ride Information:

All HRCC rides are no drop with a ride leader and a ride sweep to ensure everyone stays together on the planned route and has assistance should anything happen during the ride. The HRCC has riders at all ability levels and welcomes any new or guest riders to any of our rides. Although not a "casual" club, we've provided the above ride details to provide a sense of the level or intensity and duration of our club rides. If you're not sure whether a particular ride is right for you, we suggest erring on the safe side and picking one of our "flat" rides (usually a Saturday route) if it's you're first time with the club.

Overall ride difficulty description:

Beginner ride length is around 30 miles with minimal climbs/elevation gain and a constant steady pace. Expect multiple regrouping points to allow the group to stay together.

Intermediate ride length is around 40 miles with more elevation gain. The ride pace will generally be steady but will pick up at certain points and then back down to bring the group back together.

Advanced ride length is greater than 45 miles or route contains substantial climbing and elevation gain. The ride pace will vary over the route and will involve more spread out regroup points (top of long climbs or major turns) in the ride.

Please ride at the pace that you are comfortable with for all ride difficulties. We have riders at all ability levels so there will always be someone to ride with, especially as we are no drop. Information on training zone categories used in ride descriptions can be found HERE
