HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) was started 35 years ago by Fred Logan and his friends as part of a group of events, inspired by Terry Fox, whose sole purpose was to give back to the Ottawa Community. What was a small group of teams has grown into the Worlds Largest One Day Volleyball Tournament, that has continued to support Ottawas local charities.

The Ottawa Community Housing Foundation was named one of the charitable recipients in this years tournament and they are contributing volunteers to look after organizing the parking for the event. There are 7 parking areas that need to be managed and well be divided into groups of three to help direct and manage parking in 3 of the areas. (Pay it Forward did this last year for the Dragon Boat Festival and it was a lot of fun!!)

All Volunteers receive:
- Orientation and training on July 12th
- Special HOPE volunteer shirt
- Lunch during your shift
- Parking pass
- Invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party
