The Smoke & Davey Trailhead is located 2.2 miles east of U.S. Hwy 169 on Missouri Hwy W (4 miles north of Smithville, MO)

Parking: There is free parking at the Smoke & Davey Trailhead, but should the parking lot become full, I have been assured by the Missouri Highway Patrol that it is permissible to park along the shoulder of Missouri Hwy W, but please be careful when doing so.

Description: We will hike the paved trails from the Smoke & Davey Trailhead to Sailboat Cove and back.
Contigency plan: If it is raining that day, then I will most likely cancel the meetup.

Time: about 2 hours (Including 5 - 10 minute potty break at Sailboat Cove)
Trail surface: 10 foot wide asphalt
Degree of difficulty: Easy, moderate pace, with gradual inclines.
Suggestions: Bring your hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle, camera, etc.
Restrooms: There are restrooms both at the trailhead and at Sailboat Cove.
Dogs: Dogs are allowed on the trails, but must be kept on a leash. Please clean up after your pets.
