We split into two groups and either walk the Lakeshore Trail or hike to Lake Agnes teahouse in the morning. Both groups meet to have lunch together, then spend the afternoon paddling on Lake Louise.
Lakeshore Trail....flat, easy 4-6km walk [masked] hrs return) depending on how far we walk.
Hike to Lake Agnes teahouse is 7 km (3 - 3.5 hrs return) with an elevation of 367 m (1,204 feet).
PLEASE READ THE EVENT DETAILS. DO NOT SIGN-UP if YOU ARE NOT FOR SURE GOING TO JOIN US.
Please remember LATE CANCELLATION (48hrs) is just as BAD as NO SHOW. While there are legitimate reasons, chronic late cancellations CREATE A LOT OF WORK for the organizers and will be tracked. To be fair to everyone, anyone who no shows or gives less than 48 hours notice of cancellation will be put at the end of the waitlist should they RSVP for future kayaking events. If this happens too many times, the organizers reserve the right to remove you from future kayaking events. Please remember, the organizers are volunteers volunteering their own time and offering their own equipment for your enjoyment and we want as many people as possible to enjoy this opportunity.
