HEALING OF LOVE is a forthcoming feature doc telling the revolutionary story of the Tamera Peace Village in Portugal.
The film is produced by John Wolfstone, Julia Maryanksa and Ian Mackenzie.
Healing of Love was shot over three years visiting Tamera during their Global Love School. We are now in our final stretch of editing and fundraising, as would like to share some scenes from film, receive feedback, and create flow financially and creatively to finish this important project.
Per our paradigm, this night will be participatory, an experiment in building community. Please come ready to listen, share, meet an edge, open your heart and be surprised!

MORE ON THE FILM
The Tamera project, founded in 1978, began by asking the question: what social technologies and structures are necessary for love to work? Is there a new, potent cultural story of love emerging in our society? Now, 40 years later, the community is thriving with 170 full-time intergenerational villagers, creating immense global impact, and ready to share their story with the world.
Tamera attributes its success to their ability to create a greenhouse of trust within their community, using social tools of transparency, especially in core realms of love, sex, money and power.
HEALING OF LOVE is exploring the history, social technologies, mythos and emerging paradigm of love without fear. Filmed during three years at their world-renowned Global Love School, the aim is to translate Tameras work for the wider culture and offer coherent tools for healing patriarchy and building a planetary movement of peace.
