Hale on Wheels is a fully supported recreationalcycling eventfor road bikesheld in Plainview, HALE County, Texas, during the annual "Cowboy Days" celebration.

Cyclingroutes are 23, 30, 45,and 63 miles all on smooth, flat, lightly traveled or wide shouldered roads.
Once again, we will having our 3.10 mile and 1.00 mile Hk2020 Cruiser Ridefor families and causalriders whichstays within the Plainview city limits.
Riderswho register before September 5th, are guarnanteed to receive an event shirt, tote bag, and other goodies.
Also, all riders that pre-registered by September 5thwill be eligible for 1 of 5 Registration Reimbursment. Imagine pre-registrating for an event and showing up on event day with your registration fee in your bag.
Anutritious lunchis free for all participatesand and $5.00 for others.
RV spaces with electrical and water hook-ups are available on site at the Ollie LIner Center.
Showers will also be available on site on the Ollie Liner Center.
Early packet pick-up on Friday, September 15th from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Ollie Liner Center, 2000 South Columbia, Plainview, TX 79072.
Hydration Stations/Rest Stops are available roughly every 10 miles and will be fully supplied.
There will also be SAG wagons providing support on the courses as well.
Medical and First Aid services will be provided by Covenant Hospital Plainview. Medical professionals will be at the Start/Finish Lines, at each Hydration Station/Rest Stop, and in most SAG wagons.
RULES AND SAFETY: As we are concerned for the safety of our participates, all riders must wear approved helmets and observe all traffic laws and the law enforcement officers supporting our event. NO HELMET, NO RIDE!!!
