What is Get Geeked in Tech?

Get Geeked in Tech is an event for local middle schoolers to meet female leaders in the tech industry. Hosted by Women in Tech at MINDBODY, it'll feature women across California who've broken stereotypes, created startups, and become directors, founders, and CEOs. As many of us know, middle school has the highest rate of girls dropping out of STEM. This is an opportunity to empower and inspire our community's future leadersno matter their gender.

Speakers include:

  • Maggie Von Stein, Founder of Savvy Leadership

  • Kristen Hazard, Founder of Wildnote

  • Lorelei Sibet, Founder of OneSiren and investor of SLO Makerspace

  • Gale McCreary, CEO, President, and Founder of CareSeek
