We are taking our first ever Fusion family trip to Six Flags to celebrate the start of the new school year! Bring your friends & meet new friends on this fun weekend trip to Dallas!
We will leave from the Believers Church Annex early Saturday morning and head straight to Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington (near Dallas). We will spend the day at Six Flags & then stay overnight at Rafter 7 Ranch near Forth Worth.
Sunday morning, we'll wake up, eat a quick continental breakfast (Fusion will provide) & have some worship. Then we will eat an early lunch at In-N-Out Burger in Fort Worth & travel home through OKC and grab some snacks at Pops in the afternoon.
Transportation, Six Flags ticket/parking, gas, overnight lodging at Rafter 7 Ranch, and breakfast on Sunday morning. Not included in this cost is all other meals, snacks or souvenirs.
We estimate each student will need around $30-45 for meals & snacks. The only meal included in the trip price is Sunday breakfast. Students will need a packed breakfast & lunch for Saturday. We will not stop for a full meal on the way to Six Flags, only for snacks & bathroom breaks. Students will likely want to purchase one meal in the park, we will likely be at the park from 12pm - 8pm. We will stop for dinner at a fast food restaurant after we leave the park around 8pm.
Sunday morning Fusion will provide a light breakfast. We will stop at In-N-Out Burger around 11am, and then we will stop at Pops near OKC around 3:30pm.
We estimate each student will need around $30-45 for meals & snacks.
We would love to have parents join us for this trip! Parents who join will have to pay for their Six Flags ticket ($37.99) and meals. We do have limited space for leaders on this trip due to our van rentals. If you're a parent who is comfortable driving a 15-passenger van, you may register as a driver. If you're not comfortable driving one of these large vans but would still like to join, please email Brooke Poindexter to discuss your options at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we have too many leaders & drivers register, you may be contacted and asked to make other arrangements to come along on the trip. This is simply to keep the cost as low as possible per student.
It is our heart that every student would be able to join us for these trips & opportunities. We know the beginning of the school year can be a difficult time for many families! Email Brooke at email@example.com if your student requires a scholarship to join us.
If your student doesn't need a scholarship, we invite you to give towards scholarships! This is a new event, so we do not have scholarship funds in place for this trip. Please consider giving and making it possible for a student to join us on this bonding & exciting trip. The best way to give towards scholarships is through cash or check.
