WHAT: MeetPermanent Collectionfounders Fanny Singer and Mariah Nielson at the Bay Area clothing and lifestyle labels upcoming trunk show, hosted by Erica Tanov. Singer and Nielson wanted to approach designing their collection like curators of the art world. Their small initial offering of outerwear, and lifestyle accessories, is inspired by classic vintage pieces reimagined in new textures and textiles. The event is presenting the new Collection Three, as well as a limited selection from Collection One and Two.Collection Three:New additions to Permanent Collection this season feature select wardrobe staples, including jackets in blended wools, silk jacquard and woven wool tunics and dresses, as well as a handblown glass and carafe set, leather sandals and Works on Paper Journal.Collection One: Many pieces are culled from the closets of their stylish mothers who are respected pioneers in their creative fields. Singers mother is Alice Waters ofChez Panisseand Nielsons mother, Christine Nielson, is a textile artist and founder of the organic bedding companyCoyuchi.Collection Two: The collection also features jewelry based on designs by Mariah's father, artistJB Blunk, along with unisex organic merino lambswool scarves loomed in London, and leather sandals handmade in Paris.
