Jeff Johnson Presents:

Building Brains With Hands-On Play.

Young children learn best through hands-on, up-close-and-personal, in-your-face interactions with the world.

Such playful learning is that it is often messy--not only physically messy, but emotionally and philosophically messy as well.

Many caregivers have problems moving beyond the mess, be it the physical mess of playing with mud or the emotional and philosophical mess of rough and tumble play. This session looks at why messy play in all its forms is an important part of early learning and tools and tips to help caregivers make messy play okay.

Outcomes/ Goals
