All levels welcome!

Let's climb in the shade on a cool Saturday morning at the 29th street crag. We will set up top-ropes for those who don't lead climb.

ABOUT: 29th street has a small, fun sport/bolted crag with a nice variety of grades. Routes are short but on interesting rock.

DIRECTIONS/HOW TO FIND US: Meet us by our car at the 29th Street trail head parking at 8:15 - we drive a black Honda Pilot. We will begin walking to the crag at 8:30 a.m. It really is best to walk up with us, if you haven't been to the crag before it is difficult to describe exactly how to get there.

- helmet
- harness
- belay device
- water
- snacks/lunch
- medicines you may need
- layers of clothes appropriate for the weather
- approach shoes - the approach is not too long but it is a bit steep.

Optional (If you have experience leading)
- rope
- anchor materials with locking carabiners
- PAS - personal anchor system
- quick draws

RULES OF THE GAME: This is an outdoor event which carries more risk. We have an accident-free record, but can make no guarantees (since rocks can fall, etc.). The biggest detriment to safety is behavior, so we have some rules we need you to read and agree to. If you sign up for this event, it means you have read and agree to these rules. We greatly appreciate you helping to keep everyone safe and look forward to climbing with you!
