In association with The Grammar of Ornament exhibition, currently showing at the Walton Arts Center Joy Pratt Markham Gallery, we are thrilled to welcome Celene Aubry from Hatch Show Print in Nashville to NWA to teach a limited-seat letterpress workshop. Along with the workshop, Celene will be giving a public talk on the history of Hatch Show Print and the importance of preservation. This talk will be free to the public.
The letterpress workshop will immediately follow the lecture, 10:30 AM1:30 PM. Lunch is provided. Additional information will be emailed to you prior to the Workshop.

About Hatch Show Print: Founded in 1879, Hatch Show Prints continues to print over 600 jobs a year, all using original wood type and hand carved imagery. They are dedicated to the preservation of letterpress printing and welcome over 100,000 visitors to their shop annually to watch and participate in traditional 19th century printing practices.
