Solving Education Problems Like a Designer
Education leaders ready to create lasting positive change in their schools can be exponentially more successful by learning to apply design principles to their practice. A leader using a design mindset will inspire change by employing effective strategies and processes, like: assembling the right team, asking better questions, viewing questions through the lens of possibility, using a process that involves empathy, testing, and iteration, and more. We all are designing our world daily through the choices we make - how do we make sure those choices lead to our common goal of making education better? Join us for a day of interactive learning about the principles and skills designers use to solve real world problems - and how these can be applied to the challenges we face as educators. This event will give you access to tools, resources, and experience practicing what you need to lead change in your classroom and school.
