Welcome to your weekend workout!
What to bring
Bring a interval timing watch and water for during and post workout
Time to workout:
Group warm up
5K Walking group- 40 minutes brisk walk.
5K Running group- 40 minutes at a walk 3:30 run 1:30 interval
10K Running group- 60 minutes at a run 5 walk 1 interval. Remember this is your LSD (long slow distance) so your will run on the more conservative pace. This run is stictly to build endurance.
Half Marathon class- You will be running 8 miles. Remember this is your LSD (long slow distance) so your will run on the more conservative pace. This run is strictly to build endurance.
Post run stretches. Bring water to drink as we cool down and stretch. We will be talking about "Recovery" as we stretch. Recovery is a very important part of your training.
