The Presidential Precinct is hosting "Cultivating Community: An Evening of Film" as a part of a week-long program of events focused around Promoting Gender Equality in Education. From November 13-17, 30 emerging leaders from over two dozen countries will come together in Charlottesville todevelop innovative ideas and effective solutions to ensure that women and girls around the world have access to quality educational opportunities that will set them up for lifelong success.
Through the screening of four short films, this program will highlight the work of a few emerging leaders from around the world who are working tirelessly to ensure gender parity in their communities. Hear live from the films' producers about the vision behind their work, the progress seen in their countries, and the challenges they continue to face in their day-to-day work.

7:45-8:00pm | Vital Voices Stories -ElsaMarie D'Silva &Nadia Bushnaq, stories of combatting sexual and gender-baed violence in India and Syria
