Many people come into the medical coding field not knowing what it truly means to be a coder. Will you be reading operative reports all day? Will you work for a big hospital? Will you get to work at home? In this meeting well talk about what being a coder really means, with experienced coders, auditors, and other medical professionals offering tips and advice for both newcomers and seasoned professionals. Towards the end of the meeting attendees looking to break into the coding field can present their resumes or ask questions of the group to find out how they can advance their careers.
