18th Bi-Annual Free Clothing, Shoes and Food Giveaway

Detroit -Will you help us to be a blessing to others!
New Providence Baptist Church will gladly accept your new and gently used men, women and children clothing, coats, shoes and accessories onSaturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for their One Day Community Clothing, Coats and Shoes Donation Drive. All of the items will be distributed to the poor during their Bi-Annual Free Clothing, Shoes and Food Giveaway in March.
New Providence Baptist Church will accept: new and gently used men, women, infant and children clothing, coats, shoes, jewelry, purses, ties, belts, gloves, hats, scarves, umbrellas, baby items, car seats, playpens, strollers, walkers, wheelchairs, bicycles, toys, and children books.*We are especially in need of men and children items due to high demand.
The church willnot acceptundergarments, swimming suits, wigs, lingerie, socks, bedding, stuffed animals, furniture or any item with stains, ripped, faded, dirty or broken.
New Providence Baptist Church is located at 18211 Plymouth Road, Detroit, MI 48228(corner of Plymouth Road and Southfield). The church telephone number is (313) 837-0818 Dr. Everett N. Jennings, Sr. Pastor
All donations must be clean and in good condition, folded or on hangers. We ask that you please separate the bag by type (e.g. men, children, women) to help the volunteers with sorting the donations. New Providence Baptist Church will not sell the items. All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a tax donation letter when you make a donation towards the drive. Please drive around to banquet door #20 when you drop off your donations on February 10, 2018.
New Providence Baptist Church has clothed nearly 33,000 individuals and fed over 68,000 through their"FREE Bi-Annual"giveaway with the support of local churches, Forgotten Harvest, MGM Grand Detroit and the Metropolitan Detroit community.
Supporters state that they like to donate to New Providence Baptist Church because New Providence is a giving church and they enjoy being a blessing to the Metropolitan Detroit community.
