Official Chicken Challenge Grill Competition Information & Rules
The grills will be available for you to begin cooking on promptly at 8:00 AM. Please gauge the prep and cooking time needed to prepare your dish in order for it to be presented to the judges promptly at 2:00 PM. If you need to begin at 8:00 AM, staff will be on hand to check you in and get you started, however we do ask that all cooks be on hand no later than 10:00 AM to begin their set up. We ask that you provide chicken for judging (containers will be supplied to submit your sample).

Only 8 spots will be available for each grill brand category (Big Green Egg, Weber & Traeger). Registration is $30. All competitors will receive the following: Official GrillFest T-Shirt, GrillFest Apron, and one entry for a chance to win a GRILL of winners choice (up to $799 retail value). 100% of Proceeds from the competition will be donated to the Community with Heart Playground Fund for Ronald McDonald House-Akron, a non-profit facility providing temporary and long-term housing for patients of Akron Childrens Hospital and their families.
