Walk Description: Get your morning boost with a walk by the lake. We walk at a casual pace and invite all fitness levels to join us. McIntosh Lake trail will let us explore the natural beauty of the mountains and possibly even see some bald eagles. During the walk, you will meet new friends and enjoy strength-based exercise that will promote well-being for optimal health. See you soon!

Walking Movement Leader: My name is Cherry G. Dominguez. Im the oldest of five girls. I was born in Denver and raised in Longmont. Im happily married for 18 years and have two wonderful daughters and two Chihuahua dogs. I work full-time for a non-profit resource center called Our Center. Prior to that I worked as a medical assistant for primary care for about 20 yrs. One of my hobbies is teaching Aqua Zumba and Kids Zumba through the Longmont Rec Center. Ive taken walking and hiking as an enjoyable exercise to connect with nature and my community. Thank you for being part of my journey.

Schedule: We will meet at 8 AM at the parking lot on the East side, between the tennis courts and electric plant. We leave NO LATER than 8:10 AM. and will finish no later than 9:30 AM. We will do brief introduction, sign waivers, and a warm-up.

Trip Notes:

~ Well-behaved dogs are allowed. No retractable leashes please.

~ Wear comfortable shoes & clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring water, snacks and sun protection.

~ Be sure to bring water and consider bringing a camera to take and share photos.

Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online Welcome Waiver or download, print, sign and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience this year.
