What we'll do
BTCEB "Pop-up" ride at Del Valle.
Host: Jeff Brooks BTCEB ride leader.
Where: East Bay Regional Parks, Lake DelValle. We'll meet top of the hill DelValle road, dirt pullout/parking area on the right side of the road.
When: Sat. Feb. 10th, 10am.
Ride Length: Depending upon the group, but 2/3 hours, up to 10/15 miles.
Rider limit: To keep from being over whelmed, no more than 10 riders please. If limit is reached, contact me. Your abilities may get you in, if I don't have to worry about you. Hahaha. The Ride: . DelValle is my home trail, so we'll be doing a full sampling of my favorites trails, focusing on the south/marina side. Delvalle has a good mix of fire road & single track. DelValle is a great place to ride because of it's location in the far east bay, the trails are never crowded, even on weekends. Ride Category: As per BTCEB GALA events, this will be a "No Drop Ride. If your a BTCEB member who's familiar with our "Group Ride Categories", i.e. A,B & C groups, this ride will be a B/B+ based on overall climbs and descents. I like to go down briskly and climb leisurely. This ride will be an intermediate to advanced intermediate ride, based on descents and obstacles. Not suitable for beginners. Rider responsibilities: All riders are fully responsible for themselves and should be of intermediate ability, being comfortable in most trail situations including small jumps and steep descents. If your not sure please contact me. I will have tire & suspension pumps, but riders are responsible for their own equipment, having water, food, tubes, pumps, etc... Come out & enjoy
Jeff
