EXPECTATIONS FOR SCOUTS:

  1. A Scout is clean and reverent: We are guests of St. James United Methodist Church, so clean up after yourselves and be respectful of the church's property, its employees, and each other. Remember that other community groups may be having events there at the same time.

  2. Uniforms: Scouts must wear Class A uniforms and are encouraged to wear their merit badge sashes if they have them.

  3. Be prepared: Read the Merit Badge Pamphlet and finish all pre-requisites before attending the clinic. Bring any needed materials, including the merit badge worksheet, pens or pencils, your scout book, and other supplies specific to your class as instructed by the counselor.

  4. Blue cards: Scouts who are NOT in Troop 370 need to bring a Blue Card signed by your Scoutmaster for your course. Before leaving class, check that the merit badge counselor has recorded your attendance and signed your blue card.

FAQs

Which Eagle-required merit badges are you offering?

Click on green TICKETS button in upper right of your screen. Look for merit badges marked with an asterisk (*).

Can I sign up & pay for multiple Scouts in 1 transaction?

Yes. Select the number of tickets for each merit badge. On the next screen, you'll be prompted for information for each ticket/Scout.

If we pack our own lunches, can we get a lower registration fee?

No.

Do I have to print my tickets to attend?

We highly recommend showing print or virtual tickets to speed up your check-in process when you arrive at the clinic.

What are prerequisites?

The prerequisite numbers refer to the question numbers from the merit badge worksheets. Most/all of the prereqs are questions or activities that Scouts should be able to do at home before or after the clinic.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Email Shelli Keagle at 370meritbadge@gmail.com.

Should I bring my own water bottle?

Yes, in an effort to hold down on waste, Troop 370 will provide refills for water bottles but not individual disposable water bottles
