Join Dawn Fariello, a PhD candidate from Fordham University and Clifford Berek, Duke Farms own staff Bander as they demonstrate the mist-netting and banding techniques used by ornithologists to study songbirds.

This program will include a short discussion on the history of bird banding and the different techniques used to study birds, a live demonstration and a hands-on opportunity for participants to release banded birds.

This program is weather dependent and meets in front of the Farm Barn.
