Hello Folks-It's Robb. Who is interested in a group ride on Saturday morning? This will be a beginner/intermediate ride. We will ride from Dennis Johnston to Jesse Jones Park for a total of 20 miles. Those wishing to shorten the ride may turn around at any point. We usually have a portion of the group that does about half the distance. We will meet at Dennis Johnston Park, which is part of the Spring Creek Greenway, and connects to Pundt Park, the Stahl Preserve, and Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center. It is completely paved, well maintained, and not a single traffic light (or automobiles). The trail is alongside a creek and in the forest the entire ride. Hard to believe it is in the city!
For those interested, we will meet at Dennis Johnston Park, which is near the intersection of Hardy Toll Road and 99. Meet in the first parking lot. I will be in the metallic blue F 150. Meet time is at 0815 am, departing the lot at 0830. Sorry, no waiting. Please remember to bring water, helmet and any other items you may need. See you there!
