Join us an Beginner/Intermediate mountain bike ride! We will join Blair and Celia (Bayside Members) and a few people from the Truckee area at Alder Creek Adventure Center to ride the trails out of Tahoe Donner.

We are meeting in Pete's Coffee parking lot to caravan to Tahoe Donner. BAS is unable to coordinate carpools due to insurance restrictions...but you are free to team up at the meeting spot! Look for Stacey's Silver Toyota Truck.


Brief Ride Synopsis:


We will enjoy the beginner trails around Tahoe Donner. This ride will be between 12-14 miles...about 500 feet gain in elevation. This will be a 'no pressure pace' ride!

An annual Bayside adventure Sport membership is required for this event. If you are new to BAS, a one month trial membership is available (valid for most of our free events). This annual fee helps offset our high insurance cost and keeps most of our events free. For individuals it's only $25/year Families are $50/year. Fitness Description: To understand what is required of you as a rider please go to the top of this page and select Pages and then under the Table of Contents select Mountain Bike Division Skills and Fitness. This ride is rated Technical = 1-3 Fitness = A-C.

Distance and Elevation Gain: Ride options will depend on our turnout so it may be Friday afternoon before a final decision is made.
The route will be between 12-14 miles.

WATER AND FOOD: At least 80 oz of water is required, bring your own food and/or energy bars for the ride. HELMET AND CLOTHING: Helmets are required! Proper clothing and shoes for the weather conditions will make your ride that much more enjoyable.


WEATHER ALERT: Rain or Snow will cancel our ride.
