BCHJA is holding their annual equestrian symposium. The incredile and very talented Julie Winkle and Candice King will be coming up to Thunderbird Show Park to be a part of the event and several sessions will run over the weekend highlighting different horses and riders at all levels. The exact schedule for the day will be made available closer to the date. It is an event not to miss!

Tickets include a two day catered lunch and contintental breakfast. Other equestrian events will be showcased throughout the weekend as well.

The symposium itself is held in the indoor arena of the showpark - it can be chilly so dress warm and bring a blanket!

Candice King is a world class Grand Prix show jumper who has garnered multiple FEItitles and awards over the past 2 decades. She has represented the USA on multipleNations Cup teams and was also the top ranked US rider at the 2001 World Cup Final inGothenburg, Sweden. Since winning the coveted 2001 Queen Elizabeth II Cup at theCSIO5* Hickstead in England, Candice has continued to rack up top placing Grand Prixfinishes nationally and internationally. She was shortlisted for the 2006 WorldEquestrian Games, was a member of the 2nd place U.S. team at the 2013 Furusiyya FEINations Cup at the CSIO5* Spruce Meadows and was a member of two winning FEINations Cup teams in 2015.

Julie Winkel is one of the foremost trainers, judges,clinicians and educators in the country. She's held her United States Equestrian Federation R-rated license in Hunter, Hunter Breeding and Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation since 1984 and has presided over many of the country's most prestigious horse shows, such as Devon, the Pennsylvania National, Washington International, the National, Capital Challenge, the US Pony Finals and the USEF/Sallie B. Wheeler National Hunter Breeding Championships, just to name few.Julie has also designed courses and judged the ASPCA Maclay Finals, the USEF Medal Finals and the New England Equitation Championships.


Registration opens at 7:45 am

Tickets will be checked at the door - checking for membership vs. non membership.

If you are purchasing multiple tickets please make sure you select the correct ticket type for each person.
