Endorsed by Curators:
On the weekend of Saturday, February 10th and Sunday, February 11th, at the MAAC in Valparaiso, Battalion Chiefs are gathering to discuss the critical issues facing our profession. To accommodate the time constraints that departments experience, we are offering this training in 2 days versus the traditional 3 days without jeopardizing the integrity of the program. Moreover, it is being presented at a fraction of its traditional cost without the hassle of arranging long distance travel and/or accommodations.
The lead instructor will be Assistant Fire Chief Mike Prete, (ret.), Montgomery County, Maryland Fire & Rescue. Mike recently retired with nearly 35 years of experience, serving as the Executive Chief. In addition to his role directly relating to fire and rescue operations, he managed daily operational and administrative issues including budget, daily oversight and scheduling for 1100 full time personnel. With national and state instructor certifications, he served as an adjunct instructor for the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, NIMS Instructor for MEMA, Practical Incident Control Training lead instructor and holds various certifications in the public safety field.
The space is limited to only 40 on a first come, first serve basis. For questions or to request an invoice, please contact Ward Barnett email@example.com or Chief John Kroll at firstname.lastname@example.org.
