Chicago Childrens Museum is committed to providing exhibits, programs, and public spaces that are inclusive and interactive for all families.

During our Play for All events, we invite children and families with disabilities to come and experience CCMs playful, multisensory exhibits for a special private hour inside the museum.

The first 250 visitors to register receive FREE admission. Pre-registration is required.
CCM opens to the public at 10 am. Play For Allfamilies are welcome to stay and continue exploring the museum all day.

Play for All Events are held every second Saturday of the month.

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Save the paper, all we need is your name! We will have a current guest list at our admission desk, all we need is your name to check you in.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

By Car
From the north, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) to the Grand Avenue exit.

From the northwest, take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street Exit, south on Orleans to Illinois Street and proceed east.

From the west, take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Columbus Drive, north to Illinois Street and proceed east.

From the southwest, take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41), north to Illinois Street and proceed east.

From the south, take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) east to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41), north to Illinois Street and proceed east.

From the southeast, take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to the Illinois Street exit.

Navy Pier Parkingoffers 1600 indoor parking spaces. When electronic signage and traffic aides indicate that Navy Pier lots are full, there are alternative parking lots located near Navy Pier on Grand Avenueand Illinois Street. Weekend lot rates apply.

By Bus
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) provides five bus lines with more than 200 buses serving Navy Pier daily: #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago, #124 Navy Pier Express, and #2 Hyde Park Express. For more information, call the CTA at (312) 836-7000 or visitwww.transitchicago.com.
