After two cancelations we are finally going to the Arizona Hot Springs. The Arizona Hot Springs is located in a dramatic slot canyon that joins the river just downstream of Ringbolt Rapids. 360-degree views of the mighty Colorado River sound breathtaking? How about a soak in natural hot springs? This hike has it all!

The trail begins by taking you underneath the freeway and down a gravel filled wash. We will approach the springs via White Rock Canyon and return back via Hot Spring Canyon. White Rock Canyon is a strikingly beautiful volcanic area. There is a wide variety of desert plants to be found

"Although springs, especially hot springs, are safe and fun to relax in, there is a slight danger from a rare and lethal amoeba called Naegleria fowleri. From 2002 to 2011, the Centers for Disease Control recorded 33 cases, with a 98% death rate." - nps.gov

No pets or guest will be allowed on this hike. Respect others and stay with the group. While all our hikes are free of cost Las Vegas Dauntless Hikers is now taking donations to help cover the Meetup fees.

Your RSVP is your commitment. We ask for RSVP's so that we may plan the group's hikes properly. If you RSVP "Yes", we'll be looking for you. We expect you to show up, and to be on time. If your plans change, please take the time to update your RSVP. Most of our hikes have limits on the number of people who can attend. If you RSVP "Yes" and don't show up, you have prevented someone from attending who actually would have shown up. That's not cool. If you plan to cancel, then please do so more than 24 hours before our scheduled departure time. Likewise, if you RSVP "No," or don't RSVP at all, and then show up anyway, expecting to just come along, the Organizer will most likely ask you to leave. Repeat offenders will be put on probation or even banned from attending future hikes. Please be aware your Meetup organizers are not touring guides and are not park rangers. Expect the same risks and take the same precautions you would take if you were hiking alone. You are solely responsible for your own safety and well-being.
