Come explore with us on our annual trek to the Teanaway River Valley discovering the many different varieties of animal tracks in the snow! Last year we saw wolf, cougar, coyote and wild turkey tracks just to name a few!

And once again please welcome "Doug" our special guest host!!!!

And bring any animal track identification info with you!!!!!!!!!

Description

Distance: 5+ RT Hiking route is subject to change

Elevation gain: 500 FT +

High point: 3000 FT +

Difficulty: A moderate mostly flat snowshoe

Hiking time: 4+ hours

Hiking speed: Quick leisurely pace with plenty of breaks

What to bring: Snow shoes and gators, layered clothing, trekking poles, sturdy boots, gloves, camera, sunscreen, water and snacks.

Schedule

9:00 AM - Issaquah Highlands PNR

9:10 AM - Drive to our hike

10:15 AM - Cle elum Super Quick coffee and bathroom break............

11:30 PM - Start trek! We will all drive caravan style and stay together as parking is very limited! We will determine our start point the day of!

4:30 + PM - Finish our trek with a possible bon fire and treats..............

Always expect to get home (way way) later than expected so don't make any other evening plans! Thank you!
