American Tango is derived from Argentina with some Paso Doble influence as well. It is an expressive and dramatic Ballroom dance made up of walking movements called "Tango Walks" that are sometimes slow and cat-like or can be sharp and spontaneous. Tango Walks are mixed with steps like quick foot flicks or sharp head snaps to change postions and travel the Ballroom in a clockwise circle. This dance is generally characterized by the man pursuing a woman while she partially resists him.
