Course Overview:

This is the 4th biennial Advances in Fetal Echo Conference at Children's Health. This conference will focus on fetal echocardiography with an emphasis on diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease. The conference will offer PEARLS for physicians and sonographers who perform and interpret fetal cardiac images. We will discuss how to optimize imaging, provide living imaging demonstration and review how to recognize and interpret major forms of congenital heart disease. In addition, this course will highlight fetal MRI assessment of congenital heart disease and focus on the effects of maternal hyperoxygentaiton.

Who Should Attend:

The conference is designed for pediatric cardiologists, obstetrical ultrasonographers, pediatric cardiac ultrasonographers, and maternal fetal medicine specialists.

Educational Objectives:

  • Demonstrate how to perform normal fetal echo sweeps
  • Identify common and complex fetal echo abnormalities
  • Discuss a differential diagnosis of the most common fetal cardiac abnormalities
  • Explain the effects of maternal hyperoxygenation in the setting of CHD

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of registration fee. We are unable to process any registration without payment.

Registration fees entitles the participants admission to the conference, all course materials, continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks and lunch.

Returned Check Policy:

An administrative fee of $35 will be charged for all checks returned for insufficient funds.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Refunds on paid registrations will be issued only for written cancellation requests received by June 2, 2017. All refunds will be issued minus a $35.00 administrative fee. After June 2, 2017, NO REFUNDS WILL GRANTED.


The Children's Health is accredited by the Texas Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation:

The Children's Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This event is not affiliated with or endorsed by ARDMS
