What we'll do
Not Suitable for beginners, slow hikers, runners, and dogs are not allowed. Lets have some more fun this Sat. by going hiking again. The hike will be about 9 miles in a pretty part of the park that doesnt have a lot of steep hills, but enough to get the heart moving. It will be at a brisk, pace and we will stop as needed. It could be a demanding hike for some, but most regulars will find it easier than my typical hike. We will stop a reasonable number of times. If you are looking for a high intensity workout or a slow stroll this is the wrong hike. Leader determines the pace, mileage, the number of stops, and the duration of stops. If you want to run, do not come. No dogs allowed. No Swimming. Bring at least 2 quarts of water your lunch and wear hiking boots. Bring traction devices for ice. If there is deep snow bring Snowshoes. First, we will do a car shuttle to the trail head. If all goes well we will take the ASB to the D, the D to the RD, the RD to the N, the N to the WB, the WB to the D, the D to the RD, the RD to the LP, and the LP to the parking lot. Rain, snow, ice storms, or extreme cold cancels. Trans. 1B Sloatsburg, Rockland CO., Bus riders take the 8:30 Short Line bus from PABT NY which Arr. 9:15. The gate is 403. Bus riders please note: If theres an excessively large number of people waiting to board the 8:30 a.m. bus, there may not be enough room to seat those at the very end of the line. To ensure that you get a seat on the bus, its best to get in line by 8:00 a.m. Sometimes the bus company will add a second busbut not always.

Drivers Meet at Municipal Building Parking Lot located north of 2nd stop light. Follow signs into parking lot. L: Joe Nigro[masked] ( 7:30-9:30 PM) [masked]
