RAIN CANCELS THIS HIKE

HIKE DESCRIPTION:

We'll take the Icehouse Canyon Trail for about 3.5 miles to Icehouse Saddle. This saddle is where a number of other trails branch off to various other peaks. We will regroup here and have a light snack before turning right to begin our trek to Cucamonga Peak. The trail to Cucamonga will take us another 2.5 miles or so until we reach the summit. At the summit we will regroup again, eat our lunch, and rest up before beginning the descent back to our cars.

The trail to Cucamonga has seen better days, but it is still very doable with a group. In certain areas we will just need to take it a little slow and cautious. The views from the top(s) are pretty amazing and well worth the effort!
