Join us for the 4th Annual RUN, White and Blue 5K and Fun Run to kick off the 2020 Bastrop Patriotic Festival hosted by the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce!

Bastrop celebrates Independence Day with an annual Patriotic Festival, which kicks off with the 5K and Fun Run and continues with live music. Attendees are invited to stay for the entire day to enjoy DJ playing music all day, a Water Wonderland and activities for the kids, eating contests, tons of awesome food & treats, LIVE music and of course, FIREWORKS! The BEST in Central Texas.

1K Fun Run & RUN, White, and Blue 5K. Fast and flat run through historic downtown Bastrop. Start and finish are located at Fisherman's Park in Bastrop, TX. All runners should plan to be at the start line no later than 7:50 am for the 1K Fun Run and 8:05 am for the 5K.

We heard your feedback and will have a certified 5k course and additional age groups!

Awards
Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female race winners for the 5K. Age group awards will be given for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K. Age group awards 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. No duplication of awards.

Swag
Each athlete registered prior to June 14th will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag.

6:30-8:00 am | Race day registration and packet pick-up
8:00am | 1K Fun Run
8:20 am | RUN, White, and Blue 5K
8:30 am | Post-race Party!
9:20 am | 5k Awards Ceremony

Timing and Results
A timing chip will be attached to the back of your race bib. In order to receive an accurate finish time, please confirm your bib is attached to the FRONT of your shirt and is clearly visible. Do not remove, alter or tear the tag in any way. Timing Services will be provided by AllSports Timing. Results posted at www.allsportstiming.com after the race.

Aid Stations
Aid stations will be located at approximately the 1st and 2nd-mile marker.

Safety & Weather
In order to ensure the safety of all runners, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers, and dogs are prohibited from the race course. Parts of the race course are open to vehicular traffic throughout the run. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race and traffic signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable.

Directions

From TX-71: Take the TX-95 N exit, turn N on TX-95 (towards Buc-ee's), turn left on Farm St.

From US-290: Turn onto TX 95 S, turn right onto Mesquite St, turn left onto Main St, turn right onto Farm St.
