We are excited to invite you to the 2018 Clintonville 5K, benefiting Clintonville schools, to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Please join us; the students, staff, and families of Clintonville neighborhood schools, as we team up for a community-wide event at Whetstone High School. The Clintonville 5K includes a 5K walk/run, a One Mile Fun Run for kids, and Vendor Alley, featuring local businesses and non-profits. Not a morning person? No problem! You can also support our students by selecting the brand new "I'm Playing Hooky" option and sleeping in!
Clintonville residents are committed to keeping our community healthy, both physically and emotionally; and this event provides us, you, and our sponsors, the opportunity to promote exercise while raising money for educational and economic advantages for our children.
Our 5K is a wonderful way to spend a Saturday. You can get some exercise, shop with a variety of vendors, check out the non-profits, and grab a bite from a food truck, while also helping to provide much-needed resources for the students at Whetstone High, Dominion Middle, Clinton Elementary, Indian Springs Elementary, and Indianola K-8. These Columbus City Schools provide a well-rounded education for a diverse student body, many of whom come from socioeconomically disadvantaged homes. We work tirelessly to raise funds to further their educations and provide educational resources for our teachers and staff. Your dollars would help significantly with those efforts.
