NEW FOR 2017

We'll have reindeer games for you to play before the race begins and you can WIN prizes.

Prize for best dressed!

This is a very family-friendly, fun, and scenic 5k run and walk with all things Rudolph. People come from all over Indiana for it. It's THAT fun! You start and end at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library and journey through Foster Park. Music is just one element that livens up your December morning.

Once back at the library, enjoy snacks and hot chocolate. You could win one of our fabulous door prizes, including a Garmin Forerunner, thanks to sponsor Community Howard Regional Health. Then comes the awarding of the trophies.

When it comes to trophies, we do them right.Trophies for the 5k Run, sponsored by Salin Bank and Gold Medal Awards, will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and the first-place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 0-12; 13-19; 20-26; 27-33; 34-40; 41-47; 48-54; 55-61; 62+. Trophies for the 5k Walk go to the overall male and female winners and the first-place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups: 0-18; 19-35; 36-47; 48-59; and 60+.

We thank sponsor Club Kokomo Roadrunners for helping us make this a timed run!

Notice all the smiles in the photos? That's because the ticket price includes a medal for the first 350 participating finishers, blinking Rudolph nose, reindeer antlers, snacks, water, and a long-sleeve T-shirt, thanks to Expressions Design Co., Friends of the Library, Elle Esprit, and Paradise Trading Post.
