Rivers & Lands Conservancys4th Annual Fundraising Gala
It's time to celebrate! Join us for the4th Annual Pride of Place in the Great Outdoors Fundraising Galaheld at the historic Crestmore Manor. Be part of the festivities as we recognize the wonderful work our community leaders have done this year to conserve the great outdoors and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
The unforgettable evening begins with a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer, a silent auction, and includes guests Wild Wonders and their live animals and a local falconer with his falcon. The reception is followed by an introduction by Rivers & Lands, a culinary dinner, and a presentation of Environmental Awards to our local environmental heroes. Join us inraising support and awareness for valuable open spaces, habitats, and agricultural lands in our community.
The following Environmental Awards will be presented during the Gala:
Beverly Wingate Maloof Award Tom Mullen for his invaluable contributions in leading integrated land use planning for Riverside County and his vision and leadership in establishing the MSHCP
Community Environmental Excellence Award Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (Connie Librenjak) for engaging over 10,000 volunteers annually in environmental stewardship projects
Business Environmental Excellence Award Burrtec Waste Industries, Inc. (Bill Jones) for embracing sustainability within their practices and valuing habitat and environmental education efforts within their local communities
Local Government Environmental Excellence Award John Tavaglione for his steadfast commitment and leadership in establishing the Santa Ana River & Trail as a valuable open space resource for the community
Environmental Educator Excellence Award - Sheri Harris for her dedication to inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders through her teaching at Arlington High School
Rivers & Lands Conservancy depends on the support of our friends and the business community to help us conserve open spaces and provide opportunities for our comminty to get outdoors.
How to support Rivers and Lands Conservancy:
