Come CELEBRATE with us! Join Parks Canada BioBlitz events from coast-to-coast-to-coast as we mark Canadas 150th birthday. This BioBlitz is part of Parks Canadas contribution to the nation-wide festivities in 2017. All Parks Canada BioBlitz events help protect Parks Canada's heritage places, though biodiversity discovery and experiences for Canadians to connect to these places.
This is a two day Biodiversity Bioblitz- the objective is to catalogue as many species in one day for Kejimkujik National Park (July 15th) and Keji Seaside (July 16th). There will be special walks (please register below with the provided links) and drop in locations for visitors of all skill levels to join in on and learn about amazing biodiversity of the park (see schedule below). Experts and visitors of all ages and levels of experience will be encouraged to document their findings using photo-based iNaturalist- these can be submitted via Smart Phone or tablet or uploaded at the Bioblitz Basecamp located at Merrymakedge.
