Take a step to help raise awareness on the risks of the misuse and abuse of prescription drugs onSaturday May 20th, 2017 from 7:00am -12:00pmatGarfield High School in East Los Angeles.

To help warm up the cold muscles for the 1 mile walk, Ruby Patino of No Limits Fitness in East L.A. will offer a FREE ZUMBA class for everyone.Following the walk, cool down on the grassy area, or visit the various health resource booths as you listento the DJ spin some tunes and the speakers share their knowledge on how to safely dispose of your unused prescription drugs. To wrap up the morning and help balance your day, join the FREE YOGA class offered by East L.A.'s People's Yoga. The first 200 registered walkers will receive a FREE T-shirt and those who reach the finish line will receive their string bags, water bottle and qualify for the give-away gifts.

We believe that our children, families and communities deserve to live healthy lives. Prevention is one step away. So put on your walking shoes, bring all your family and let's help spread awareness, one step at a time!
