Share your Imagination, your Ideas, your Expertise
Come out and enjoy a fun, fast, participant-driven experience where you are in the drivers seat. Pitch youridea to the other attendees and if your topic is chosen you will lead your own session amongst your peers!Alternatively, you can attend as an active audience member, voting on the sessions you want to attend andparticipating in other attendees sessions. Additionally, you can get connected locally with exhibitors from variousl City of Raleigh departments.

Aly Khalifa
Aly is a design entrepreneur specializing in invention development. He has launched products forsome of the most exciting consumer brands and has garnered more than 24 patents. Aly and his wife,Beth, have pioneered inventive culture creation locally as the creators of SPARKcon, Gamila, and otherinnovative ventures. SPARKcon is the nations largest open-source creative festival, attracting 75,000attendees annually. Aly's collaborations have been nominated for a Grammy, and his work exhibited in the Louvre. He is anAIGA Fellow and an Eisenhower Fellow, recognized for his creative leadership and ability to drive tangible change.

Jason Hibbets
Jason is a Senior Community Evangelist in Corporate Marketing at Red Hat, and a CommunityManager for He has been with Red Hat since 2003 and is the author of TheFoundation for an Open source City. Jason has been instrumental in the creation of a transparent,community-focused, collaborative Raleigh; he has been applying open source principles inneighborhood organizations for years. He has also been the Co-Chair of CityCamp NC since 2011 anda mentor to other CityCamp NC groups across the country.

*9:00 am - Unconference begins

*10:40 am to 12:30 pm - Unconference sessions

*12:40 pm to 2:00 pm - Keynote luncheon

You must pre-register to attend and there is a non-refundable registration fee, which includes continental breakfast and lunch.

$10 for Raleigh residents
$15 for others; teens are free with adult registration.
